Rule 1: There is no free lunch.
Rule 2: If someone offers you a free lunch, see Rule 1.
Note that if you enable a notch within the pass band of the signal
you are listening to, everything within the notch will disappear,
including the part of the desired signal that is within the notch.
That may lead to distorted-sounding audio.
Have you tried notching the carrier with the manual notch?
