If the case is broken... maybe you can install the guts into a different 
case.  Perhaps the Shure 444 or one like it would hold the guts, and 
provide a handy PTT and ON/OFF Switch.   Otherwise, you go shopping and 
hope you see something along that way that might be pressed into 
service, either at the next swap meet, or the next, or something on eBay 
... or... or...

Possibly a "Buddy" desktop mic housing or some other mic housing could 
be fitted for it.  Different styles can be found in eBay and elsewhere, 
and I have some friends who design and wholesale microphones for various 
purposes, and maybe they have something that can work for it.
