A TEN-TEC Regal desk microphone and stand is the grand prize in our first Field Day Photo Contest, plus TEN-TEC goodies for five runners-up.

All of us in Sevierville want to see how TEN-TEC rigs are used at Field Day locations across the U.S. So, we’ve decided to hold a photo contest!

Send us your best digital photos of a TEN-TEC in use at your Field Day and you may win a prize!

We’d like to feature a photo gallery on our website showing hams having fun using our radios. And we may even use these photos in our advertising.

What are we looking for?

We’d like to see TEN-TEC rigs--any model or vintage--being used at a Field Day location. Your photo should include a person or people, but we may have to ask for a signed release from anyone who is identifiable in the photo that is not the entrant. This will be especially important if minors/children are shown. Send your best pics and, if necessary, we can work this out. All photos must include the entrant’s callsign as part of the file name. Photos must be taken Friday-Sunday of Field Day 2011.

You may also include any stories or Soapbox comments about using a TEN-TEC during Field Day. We’d love to hear from you!

How will the winners be chosen?

The winners will be selected from all entries received by July 24 -- three weeks after Field Day. We may post photos on our web site as we receive them and announce the winners on or about August 1, 2011. We will select what are, in our opinion, the best photos showing TEN-TEC radios being used in a Field Day set-up. Our radio doesn’t have to be the “most important” part of the picture, but must be visible. The judging will be done by TEN-TEC staff.

Prizes

We will we awarding one TEN-TEC Regal desk microphone ($139 value) plus standand and at least five TEN-TEC coffee mugs and/or caps. All photos submitted become the property of TEN-TEC, Inc.
