[TenTec] Corsair II VFO level?

I turned a solid knob out of 2" diameter aluminum for my Corsair II that
gives it a lot nicer feel. But its colder than the plastic knob. I
didn't get a good knurl on my little lathe but got enough of one that
there's no slip problem. A rubber tire from an Orion might be nice.

I grew up with radios having huge gear reductions so I like a mechanical
feel, not the lifeless feel of an encoder or a well broken in PTO,
though I have several of each type today. The best mechanical feel was
the vintage HRO drive.
