[TenTec] Orion 565 and RemoteRig

Hi Eric--

I have the Glentek RTE/FXO and it works well with my non-TenTec radio.  The
telephone interface provides a nice solution for audio, and their tech
support has been excellent.  Just about any software that can control your
radio can be used at the remote end.

Many of you responded to my earlier inquirey on remoting my Orion 565 via
the internet.

Almost all of the suggestions included using the shack computer and various
combinations of software.

What I'm lookiing for is a way to connect and control the Orion without
relying on the shack computer. Instead, I'll interface the system via the
router.

RemoteRig seems to fill the bill, but it isn't inexpensive! Likewise the
Glentech products.

Has anyone used either? Your opinions?
