[TenTec] Serial Interface between Omni VI+ and computer

My OMNI VI+ (and ORION II and FT-1000MP) communicate with a standard RS-232
serial port on every computer I've used them with.

For computers without an RS-232 port with USB ports only, a USB-to-RS232
adapter with FTDI chipset works without any problems.

Ric:  My OmniVI has a 25 pin RS-232 port and works without a level
converter.

converter in the 9 pin case and see if that solves the problem.
