Yeah, but if air flow is not impeded and you're not running 100W RTTY
on the Orion, is there any evidence that you need an external fan with
the Orion?  Sure you can use one, but do you really need one?

With the Omni VI, you would hear the passband center frequency
shifting as the rig heated up during cw contest running and an
external fan was the cure.  On the other hand, the Orion seems
unflappable during cw contesting, without the fan.
