[TenTec] Omni 6+ mute?

Thanks for the responses.

Carl, I tried this and the problem is that even though the power is
set to zero, the Omni 6+ is putting out a very low power signal that
I'm hearing interfering with the other radio's sidetone. This scheme
would work if I was only listening to the Omni 6+ (mono) but I'm
listening to the other radio in one ear and the Omni 6+ in the other
ear (stereo). Another issue is that it generates sidetone in the Omni
6+ and the Omni 6+ sidetone is not pleasant to listen to with all its
switching artifacts. Eventually I hope to tackle that issue - (the
"disconnect conn 52" solution doesn't work for me since I'm only using
dsp audio for sidetone and I need conn 52 gating)

Thanks for the suggestions James but none of them will do what I'm trying to do.

Happy Turkey Day to all,
