Good question, Frank !   My answer is...   "Several."

I did this, myself.  I built monoband dipoles from aluminum tubing. 
Costs is about $60 - $130 depending on size.  Solid as sears and only 
require a single support point (not two like wire dipoles usually use.)

I can slide the telescoping elements inside each other when adjusting 
for low SWR - very EASY and very precise.   See my work here:

entire project, part by part.   They work swell and tune up quickly.

I took the mast down tonight, and will put up both a 10 and 15 meter 
dipole on the mast tomorrow morning.

Therefore, you can have several solid, single support, tuned monoband 
antennas for way less than the cost of a tuner.  Put two or three on a 
mast,  and you are good to go.
