[TenTec] Headphone impedence

The phones come with a 1/4" -1/8" stereo adapter so I couldn't use that (unless I just wanted to hear in one ear) so I got a 1/8" Stereo to 1/8" stereo to 1/4" adapter and also picked up a Koss volume control, so the combination works just fine, but I would prefer to just plug the phones into the unit without a bunch of adapters. I guess I was thinking if I could install a stereo 1/4" jack on the radio that would be the ideal situation.
