I'm not sure if you do a lot of split operation when chasing DX, but the
early Omni VI  A and B VFOs cannot be independently locked. I find myself
spotting the QSX, and then accidentally moving  the DX frequency when going
back.  Oddly, my Paragon II doesn't have this issue and it has become my
preferred rig for split operations.

Does anyone know if TT still sells upgrade ROM chips for the Omni VI?
