[TenTec] 600 Meters, anyone?

I think we're mainly preaching to the choir here about upgrading to Extra, 
but the present exam is so easy that we have some Extras in our local club 
who passed it without ever being on the air,  and have no technical 
background.  No real excuse for not upgrading, if you want the privileges.  Not at 
all like the one I passed in 1958, after failing the written test the first 
time.
