[TenTec] 229A SWR Circuit - UPDATE

The meter as used in the 238 tuner is a 200 micoramp meter.  There is no 
shunt.

I suggest you check with Paul at Tentec Service to obtain a replacement. 
Plus, it wil have the correct scale.

Being one that does troubleshoot and repair equipment myself, I do not 
replace parts unless I can confirm they are defective.  Many times replacing 
a part may introduce other issues.  In my practice, experience and thinking, 
the shotgun repair technique is not suggested.

I think the meter in the 229 is 200 microamps not 200 milliamps listed the 
Futurlec meter.
Not sure what the basic movement is without the shunt.
