Ole Poppa Fox is shore a'hopin' this-hyer Big Solar Event won't completely wipe out the 20-Metre Fox Hunt scheduled fer this evening 0100-2300Z (that equates to 1900-2030 Mountain Time here in the Colonies.  I am not on the active Fox Committee so am not privy to all their decision-making any more......so I don't know what they may decide to do about postponing tonite's hunts in lite of the severity of the solar flare.  We'll all learn together.

Wow, this looks like a classic solar flare where the absorption is too 
high in the ionosphere for signals to refract back to earth.
