I was told that it is GC, but the original second RX was a little better in that mode..BUT the ham band function was like the Eagle (superb!).

I believe that John Henry has posted that the rx-366 DOES WORK as a gc rx. 
OWEVER, specifications apply ONLY to the Amateur bands.
