Yes, Barry, but you're in Bob's first group, people who know what they're 
doing.  A few years ago, a generous member made a gift to our club station 
(WE7GV) of a Yaesu Mk V that he wasn't using. I hooked it up to our 2x3-500Z 
amp and SteppIR beam.  It got hardly any use because the members thought it 
was too complicated.  So, we set up a second, KISS station - a simple, low 
end IC-718 and a Gap vertical.  Guess which gets all the use.
