I use galvanized steel masts at 35-45 feet,
which I believe are stronger than many aluminum
poles, and which cost substantially less than others,
locally they run $125-$145. I have a heavy full sized
aluminum dipole on one, and on another I have a
	9-foot 2m vertical, a 15 meter aluminum dipole, and
a 40-6 m OCF dipole. I guy each with 4 ropes and they
	have survived 70 mile winds.

I know guys have put Spiderbeam antennas on these
	with good results.

I suppose one could put up 2 10 foot, and a five foot
top tower sections, and bracket against house and
avoid guy wires altogether (if all you put on it is a
5 foot mast with a light rotator and a Spiderbeam type
antenna on top...) I have considered doing that, myself.

Of course you mileage may vary... ;-)
