[TenTec] Paragon output problem

*The Filter Board has relays which as the name suggests, switches different
filters in and out of the Transmitter Circuit, depending upon which band
you have selected. When this happens to your radio, have you tried
switching to a Dummy Load and changing bands? Your problem COULD be caused
by a bad relay or component located on the Filter Board. By using a Dummy
Load you should see a good SWR no matter what band or frequency selected.
By switching bands, you would be using a different Relay and set of
components on this Filter Board. To be more specific you could have a
problem on the Low Pass Filter Board. The Manual has a description of this
circuit and how it works. There are Ten Tec Gurus here who are much more
knowledgeable than me. I am sure they will be able to come on board with
more specific information. Just hope that I have helped in maybe, putting
you on the right track to cure your problem. I guess the question should
be, does this happen on just 40 meters?*
