Dave,
A wild guess based on the only failure on my Delta since brand new -- On of
the issues over the years, that is from the beginning of the Delta II was
that there were surface mounted "vxo" sections that controlled sections of
the frequency coverage. There was a problem with the manufacture when
mounting those components. My Declt II went back to TT a few times over the
years - mostly it was at the other end of the range (10 and 15 meters).
I'd call TenTec - they will hzard a guess before you send it in.
