No one has mentioned the HW9. The one that I built (but have since sold)had the warc band pack. Everything from 80m-10m. For cost, a TT Scout would fit into the lower price range. Not sure what rcv drain it has. The Argosy II has a switch to turn off the display to conserve battery drain. 73 Paul K9OT
