Bob,

Do all the com port parameters in HRD (speed, parity, etc.) agree with the
parameters for the radio? (57600, 8-N-1, handshake, handshake)

Does the com port number in HRD agree with the port number on the computer?

The RS232 cable should be wired "straight", no pairs transposed.

I'm having a hell of a time trying to get the Orion to connect to HRD...
I have a new cable..I have tried three different cables with no luck..any
ideas would sure help..Bob
