[TenTec] 318 and qsk-5

When shortly after being licensed in 1959, I built an amp with four 6DQ5 
sweep tubes.  These were in a parallel and push-pull configuration.   I 
drove the control grids in push-pull and the plates were connected parallel. 
The screens were then modulated with audio thus I had a 600 watt balanced 
modulator.  The result was 600 watts of DSB with about 20 dB of carrier 
suppression.

Give me an idea and I'll try about anything...........once.
