[TenTec] Noise Blanker Comparisons

I am not sure what sorts of noise the Corsair II noise blanker is 
designed to work on.  It does not seem to do much on any noise I 
encounter here.  The noise blanker in my Omni V was also pretty much 
useless.  The blanker in my Argonaut VI seems to work on some noise like 
the electrical noise I encounter here from dirty power line insulators. 
  The best noise blanker I have ever used is in my Argonaut II.  It 
takes out most solar noise, Es noise during 6 meter openings, auroral 
noise, arcing contacts and pretty much anything else. I wish I could 
install it in my other radios. My Argo II is now happily hooked into my 
VHF transverters, and does a great job.
