If Rick doessn't do it, I will. It is easy to make inexpensive open wire lines with 1/2" flexible PVC (about $20 for 100 ft. at Home Depot) for the spacers that it or window line should be on any antenna connected to a tuner. Certainly not coax. The correct place for a tuner in a coax fed antenna is at the antenna feedpoint, and ONLY AT THE ANTENNA FEED POINT!!! 

Yes, I am hardheaded about that. 

However, I respect your right to your own opinion and system layout

        started on the virtues of open feed line !!! 

        He is a super big fan of open feed line - 
        especially on multi-band antennas.  If he 
        gets going on that, we will be here all day !!! 

        (Although I concede he presents a good case.)
