[TenTec] Omni 6+ AGC - loud transients

I'm finding that loud transients are breaking through the AGC on my Omni
6+.  I'm wondering if the AGC capacitors (C27/C30) have aged and need
replacing.  Does anyone know whether this becomes an issue as the Omni 6+
ages?  Or any other ideas on the problem?
