You might try setting the program ?.exe compatibly mode to  Windows XP
(Service Pack3).  That may help.  I don't have the program.

This is off topic but I am wondering if anyone has or is having problems 
running Ham Radio Deluxe with a Windows 7 operating system. I just 
purchased and downloaded the latest version onto my laptop running Win 
07. It runs sluggish and locks up frequently. I have contacted HRD 
support but have not heard back from them yet.
