"low" is a relative term.  Compared to other radios I've owned, the Orion
has relatively low af power output at the headphone jack.  I typically have
AF Gain above 75% (RF Gain in the 60's usually) with headphones on the
Orion.  On my Corsair II, typical AF Gain is 30%.
