It might be the master osc.  Put the main radio at exactly 10 mhz and 
zero beat WWV by adjusting this guy.  I'm not 100% sure this is the 
adjustment you are talking about but I do know there was one that would 
do this.

The best way to know for sure this is correct is to tune in WWV in LSB 
and swap between LSB and USB with the display reading 10.000000 until 
there is no change in sound between the two modes.
