[TenTec] Omni VI mystery

A lot of rigs work this way....tune the guy to same pitch as your side 
tone, and ...that's it!!
What would be interesting is....I wonder if this has been going on for a 
long time? Was my old Kenwood 850 like that...or earlier than that 
even?  I doubt my TS520S worked this way....or did it??
