[TenTec] OMNI VII and digital modes issue

I Use an 8 port USB to serial FTDI adapter.  I have never had any 
problems with it at all and it gives me 8 serial ports that work fine 
even on a laptop.  I use it for software development for all my radios 
in my software development lab.
