[TenTec] TT 940 power supply

While not the specific TT 940, I use switching supplies with my Omni VII and 
Eagle and have no issues with noise or birdies.

In addition to the DC power cable between the power supply and radio, I do 
strongly suggest that one run a dedicated ground from the power supply 
ground to the radio ground terminal.
