OK, got it! I thought these were one-piece plastic knobs designed to look
like the 2-function stacked control knobs on my Paragon. Got the sleeve off,
used the supplied tool and got it reattached now. Thanks!

If it's the same as the Orion, yes the ring/collar pulls off. The way it
works on the Orion: pull off the collar; put on the inner knob with
setscrew aligned with the flat of the shaft. When you put on the inner
knob, push it all the way back/flush and then pull it toward you slighly
(1/8 in ?) and tighten the setscrew. You need a gap in there for the push
switch to function. Confirm that you've regained the PBT/BW switching
function. Finally, slip the ring/collar back over the inner knob.
