I agree, which is why I spent the time and effort to research exactly 
what would be needed to program blank chips and write the email.

I had no idea of the ability of the original poster to build digital 
circuits, and it was obvious that he had no expertise in the field of 
EPROMs and programming them, so I thought it was worth mentioning hoping 
to have someone say "I do, and I have".
