Look to the left of the jack.  There are two resistors and you can hook on to the second
to the left of the jack.  One side is ground and the other hooks to the jack.  

I have been told there are several versions of the board, so the directions in the manual 
are not correct for all.  I have two versions of the board here and only one will work in my
VI+.
