Let's read the original announcement again, carefully; particularly this:

"The company is currently seeking a new operations facility in the
Sevierville area to more efficiently house factory operations, part of the
engineering resources, and technical and customer support services."

George pointed out that moving inventory, especially boxed inventory, is not
expensive.
But what if you have no place to move it to?
What would you do with it?

My bet:  
- they have sold the old building and land and must vacate it sooner than
they had planned.
- They have not yet found a suitable new building.
- The crew will have to go to some temporary location until they find a new
home.
- And the best thing to do will existing inventory is to dump it ASAP,
rather than pay storage somewhere.

THAT would explain the sudden fire sale.
If true, there is no cause for any negative thinking.
It's just a sound business decision.
