I used a broadband noise source and a radio with a bandscope to rescue a CORSAIR. Worked out to be a very nice radio. I used the same procedure to rescue a FT890 using a rtl-sdr with SDR# and up converter from NOOELEC that has a built in noise source. The FFT and waterfall make a great tool 73 Spencer W1GAK
