[TenTec] Eagle problem?

I was told by a retired NASA radio engineer to avoid daisy-chaining the
equipment and then running a single run to ground. He says it is better
to run separate ground lines from each chassis to a single point ground
(bonded to the mains as is appropriate).
Does this contradict what you are saying?
