Rick....Yes, of the dozens of computers I have, not one was
new.....Except this MacAir...which I got free with United mileage.
I used to work for HP, and I STILL had Dell computers at home!!
Got my mom a refurbished Dell also!
But, in this case....as a XMAS present....I'm overruled!! The rest of
the family is opting out of
"Here's your new, used computer....Merry Christmas!!!"
So...I'm searching. I did find Tiger-Direct has new Windows 7 Lenovas
and a few others.
For mom-in-law getting emails, and saving grandkid pics....I think an I3
is WAY more than enough!! I think my shack PC is a dual core..and it
does fine with Windows 7 64 bit, and anything I ask of it!....(Although
I gotta say....this MAC SCREAMS compared to anything else I've tried!)
