[TenTec] Centurion is on the Fritz

*I like my Tuner in the Shack and also with Big Knobs on it. The rule for
me is KISS (( Keep it Simple Stupid )) And I am that a lot of times! But,
then again we really like our 450 Ohm Window Line also. (( aka Ladder Line
)) When/If my Tuner Arcs, I know it right away. Bought in 1997 the first
thing we did to our MFJ-989C was redo ALL the solder connections. This is
standard procedure for anything that says MFJ that enters our Shack. And
here we are 18 years later and it is still doing a good job. I would Love
to own a new Ten Tec Manual Tuner. But, why dream of drinking Wine when you
only have a Beer Budget? The Cool thing about mine is the label. I swear it
says " 3KW Roller Inductor Tuner " on the front of it. Me thinks they Over
Rated it a bit! Good Luck with your Amp. These fellows have already
said everything that I could have thought of to help. *
