[TenTec] Signal to noise

When I used to operate mobile, I noticed the same thing. Also,
receiving was
good, even with the short whips. Guess they are hi-Q if resonant. Noise was
always a problem. Been a long time - I'd end up in the ditch or over the
hill these days!
