[TenTec] Major sudden shift in frequency?

Same problem here last year, first noticed in main rcvr but not the sub. I did all the same things that you describe, several times actually, none of which had any effect on the problem. At first there was the sudden shift, then it was more of a warbling like an oscillator going unstable. Finally sent it off to TT but they said it couldn't be fixed. They finally deemed it was the victim of lightning damage, but I have my doubts about that. But I have now placed it in the junk pile and thanks to the lightning letter they wrote me I am shopping for a new radio.

Good luck.
