[TenTec] Paragon and Model 544

It's my first post and questions already! 

The green digit on the #544 is considerabley less bright than the other red digits; almost useless in in a a bright room. I suspect this is not normal. 

what is the bulb type as used for the OUTPUT in the 252M power supply? 

What is the difference between a Paragon 1 and Paragon Model 2? How can you identify one from another or tell the difference.
