[TenTec] Omni VI Opt 3 Encoder Noise

I got to spend some time on my Omni VI+ 564 the last few days. There are
two distinct noise issues:

1. There's the "zipper" like encoder noise (fairly low level but audible)
when tuning.

2. There's display noise/buzz, clearly audible when turning RF Gain down to
zero, that gets progressively louder as you turn display INT up. It
completely disappears at very low INT setting, although the display will be
quite dark.

Does anybody have a specific fix (shielding, ferrite, etc) for either of
these?

Thanks & 73, Barry N1EU
