Big time agree. Direct personal experience here...  my first 
Ten Tec was an Omni-A bought new circa 1980 by my father (I 
was 16). Pass transistor blew on the 252 supply and took out 
half of the semi's in the rig...  fortunately, under 
warranty. Came back from Ten Tec with the crowbar box. Blew 
two more times over the next 25 years, and the crowbar saved 
the rig both times.
