I have a Ten Tec Model 263 VFO, which had the "jump" problem. The LED
BARGRAPH Calibration procedure in the 263 manual fixed mine. You need a
Corsair-II with working digital frequency readout to do the calibration. I
did not have an RF Volt meter (or oscilloscope) which is needed for the
"BALANCE" adjustment.

Ten Tec Model 263 VFO

This is the matching external VFO for the Corsair. There is a small
problem with the Receive-B button that I called Ten Tec about just before
they moved to their new location. They said that an alignment would
probably fix it but, since I don't have an RF volt meter, I never attempted
it. I will email the buyer a PDF copy of the manual and the alignment
procedure is in there.

This is the problem; The PTO is stable, but when you depress the Receive-B
switch the frequency jumps all over the place. It works fine if you press
Receive A&B and pan the control all the way to B, which is how I was using
it for split operation up until the day I sold my Corsair last May.

Some scratches on the left side, otherwise in very good condition.

Price is $100 (including shipping) in the continental USA.

Please contact me for photos or other information.

Jock N1JI
