What direct sampling digital receivers can offer are optimized bandpass
filtering ahead of the ADC. These are somewhat analogous to roofing filters.
The IC7300 lacks "dual watch" or multiple virtual receivers on the same
band. The low priced ANAN SDRs offer this feature ("Multi RX")
