[Jim Allen]

I inquired of his pal K4TAX and was told he is alive and kicking.  He had some medical problems with his wife earlier, but is still on the air, NCS some net in TN and repairing radios.

Hope this is accurate and up to date.  I've not heard from him in several months otherwise.
