[TenTec] Orion 1 Dim Display Cure

I did find a means to not only repair, but drastically improve the display in the Orion 1. (No, LED’s do NOT last forever!)

While I will not run ads on list, I found one I was easily able to fit into the space, a driver I was easily able to mount.

The appearance of the finished display is far better than its appearance when it left the factory.

It has brightness to burn. Great contrast is retained as is the ability to adjust it.

If anyone is interested in seeing how this performs, I can direct them to one I have off list.

I do not want to promote any off-list sales I might have but I am willing to share information, part numbers, supplier and assistance with installation.

PS: I have had this beaming away at me for 3 hours with no evidence of  so-called LCD saturation/heating/dimming.
