I would use the 14.8V pack.  Depending on the TX power you are going to run, 
get one (or two) diodes capable of carrying the current you need, and put it 
(them) in series with the supply line to drop the voltage by 0.6 or 1.2 
Volt.  Please end you message with your name and/or call.  It makes it so 
much nicer to know who we are replying to.
