try “zoom” oil….turbine oil. think its turpentine based so it docent carbon up. if no good hardware store available, amazon.com <http://amazon.com/> has it. I use the oil on everything from guns to swamp cooler fan blades. Comes in a small bottle with retractable spegetti tubing applicator.
